Creative Muse Where are You?!

So, how much art work did I get done this week? ummm slim to none. =( This spring break went by way too fast. After I drew the English flag on my nails I haven't done anything creative. Now I've been sick since Friday so I haven't felt like doing anything at all. Atleast I got sick at the end of the week. I had a productive week visiting with friends and catching up on sleep. That was all good. I hope everyone else had a nice week off. Not really ready to go back into school mode, but we're almost done with this semester! Crazy. Well I do have a 2D project I should go finish...

Came across this artist Cathy Peng on Etsy. She has really cute stuff.

Bead Fiesta

Yesterday my mom and I went to a bead show called Bead Fiesta at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Warwick, RI. There is an upcoming show in MA. There was alot of different vendors there with beads. One in particular was selling her handmade lampwork glass beads. The artist goes by Kim V Glass and I've made her the artist of the week. =) All her pieces were so beautiful and you could tell a lot of hard work went into them (hence they were a little pricey). But I figured it was worth the money since each piece is different and you'll never find any like them. I bought these two beads since I couldn't decide between the two. Today I put them on chains. I've always wanted to make my own beads from glass. I'm trying to find a class I could take...maybe even if RISD offered a class over the summer.

I also joined Twitter yesterday after my friend became addicted. It's actually pretty cool. So feel free to follow me if you have one, or think about signing up! The link is on the side panel under other sites I'm on.

The Motherland

I love England. I'm a huge fan of British movies and television...anything British really. I want to go to England so badly and maybe even live there one day. While looking up a British comedian/actor Russell Brand I found a picture of him with the British flag on all of his nails. I loved it and wanted to see if I could find them. But instead I decided to try painting them on my nails myself. I only tried my thumbs because I felt it would draw more focus on them. They didn't come out perfect, but for my first try I think they came out well =)

Le Cafe

One of my friends showed me this little animation, Odelaf & Monsieur D - Le café. It's pretty interesting and funny, not long at all. We both enjoyed the music. It's in French but has English subtitles. Here it is if you would like to take a look. =)

Kitty Cats

I took a million pictures of my cats. I love taking photographs of them when theyre in a good pose by the window, or whenever they're near good natural lighting. Here's one that I took and edited.
